Job Description

  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is typically required.
  • Experimentation and analysis: Conduct chemical experiments and analyses according to established protocols. This can include performing tests, analyzing samples using techniques like spectroscopy and chromatography, and verifying product quality.
  • Solution preparation: Prepare chemical solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory tests and experiments.
  • Data management: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from experiments and maintain accurate and detailed records of all findings.
  • Equipment maintenance: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment. This also includes sterilizing equipment and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Safety and compliance: Ensure all laboratory work and practices comply with established safety, health, and quality standards.
  • Research support: Assist senior chemists in ongoing research projects, which may include contributing to research discussions and reports.
  • Documentation: Prepare and write technical reports summarizing experimental results.
