Quality Control Testing: Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials (milk), in-process, and finished products. This includes testing for parameters such as protein content (using methods like Kjeldahl), fat percentage, Solid Non-Fat (SNF), pH levels, and any potential adulterants.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all processes and products adhere to national and international food safety and quality standards, such as FSSAI/BIS in India, HACCP, PFA, and ISO 22000.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate laboratory records, calibration logs for equipment, and prepare technical reports on test findings and product quality.
Laboratory Management: Oversee the maintenance of laboratory equipment, manage chemical stock and supplies, and ensure general lab safety and hygiene standards (GLP).
Product Development Support: Assist in new product development (NPD) trials, conduct shelf-life studies, and collaborate with R&D teams to improve existing product quality and yield.
Hygiene and Sanitation: Ensure the hygiene and sanitation of all equipment, machinery, and storage containers used in the processing unit.
