Shift Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations during the assigned shift, ensuring continuity and productivity.
Production/Target Achievement: Monitor and control process parameters to achieve production targets, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and quality standards (e.g., in manufacturing, chemical, or mining).
Team Leadership & Deployment: Supervise operators, technicians, and supervisors; assign tasks based on skills; manage shift scheduling, attendance, and discipline.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations (PPE, EHS), SOPs, and environmental norms to ensure a zero-accident, compliant work environment.
Troubleshooting & Decision Making: Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues, breakdowns, or process deviations promptly.
Reporting & Communication: Maintain accurate shift logs, production reports, and data analysis; conduct proper handover between shifts.
Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
Training & Development: Train new staff, mentor operators, and improve team skills.
