Supervision & Management: Lead and mentor a team of electricians and technicians; plan and schedule electrical projects and maintenance activities.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machines (e.g., extrusion, coating, etc.), power distribution systems, motors, and control panels.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to national and local electrical codes (like NEC), safety regulations, and implement safety protocols to mitigate electrical hazards in the plant environment.
Design & Installation Support: Review electrical specifications and single-line diagrams, provide technical support for new equipment installation, and coordinate with other engineering departments (mechanical, civil, piping).
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and project progress; manage documentation related to electrical systems and equipment performance.
Inventory & Vendor Management: Manage spare parts inventory and collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services or material procurement.
