Job Description

  • Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines, including loading/unloading materials using cranes or forklifts.
  • Programming & Nesting: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; program or edit nesting software to maximize material usage.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, cut quality, and surface finish, using tools like verniers and micrometers.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance (checking oil/coolant levels) and troubleshoot machine issues (e.g., plasma arc, air pressure issues).
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines
