Job Description

  • Modeling & Simulation: Create, validate, and run EMT models (e.g., WTG, STATCOM, converter-based resources) in PSCAD/EMTDC.
  • Grid Code Compliance: Execute studies for grid connection, including fault scenarios, small signal disturbances, and reactive power compensation.
  • Transient Analysis: Conduct studies on insulation coordination, lightning protection, and switching transients.
  • Harmonic Studies: Analyze harmonic distortions and design filters.
  • Documentation: Draft technical reports, present findings, and recommend mitigation strategies for system improvements.
  • Collaboration: Interface with OEMs for model parameterization and work with cross-functional teams.
