Job Description

  • Vendor Development (VD): Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, conducting audits to ensure capabilities meet quality standards.
  • Procurement Management: Handle procurement of raw materials, components, or services, including placing purchase orders (POs) and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Technical Evaluation: Analyze engineering specifications to ensure components (e.g., machined, forged, fabricated) meet technical standards.
  • Vendor Performance Tracking: Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and service; resolve quality issues.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams to align procurement with manufacturing schedules
