Job Description

  • Supplier management: Research, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
  • Procurement: Issue purchase orders, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to secure goods and services for the plant.
  • Inventory and logistics: Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts, coordinate with logistics for timely delivery, and ensure proper documentation like invoices and GRNs.
  • Cost management: Analyze pricing, prepare cost analyses, and ensure all purchases are cost-effective to support profitability.
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations. Prepare reports on purchases, costs, and supplier performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal departments, such as production and engineering, to understand and forecast their material needs.
