Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials (slabs/scrap) and monitor the entire HR production cycle, including reheating, rolling, and coiling.
Defect Investigation: Identify, document, and analyze surface defects, dimensional deviations (thickness, width, crown), and metallurgical issues.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Utilize problem-solving tools like 7 QC tools, Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and 8D to determine the root cause of production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Process Improvement: Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability Studies (Cp/Cpk), and Lean Six Sigma techniques to reduce process variation and waste.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date quality records, test reports, and audit documents.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, maintenance, and sales teams to resolve customer complaints and enhance product quality.
Supplier Quality: Audit suppliers and evaluate raw materials to ensure they meet internal standards
