Job Description

  • System Operation & Monitoring: Operating and monitoring all components of the refrigeration system, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, cooling towers, and control panels (which may include PLC systems).
  • Temperature Control: Ensuring critical temperature ranges are maintained for different processes, such as blast freezing, deep freezing, and general cold storage.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine preventive maintenance, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and conducting minor repairs (e.g., leak detection, cleaning strainers, checking oil levels).
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous refrigerants like ammonia or Freon, and ensuring all operations comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate shift logbooks, recording pressure and temperature logs, and documenting maintenance activities and any deviations in system performance
