Operations Management:
- Oversee daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and visually appealing, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Monitor store security and implement loss prevention measures to protect company assets.
Staff Leadership and Development:
- Supervise, train, coach, and motivate store staff to maximize performance and productivity.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and delegating tasks to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Provide regular performance feedback to team members and address any conduct or performance issues.
Inventory and Merchandising:
- Monitor inventory levels, place new orders when necessary, and assist with receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full store inventories to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure products are displayed correctly and priced accurately according to visual merchandising standards.
Customer Service and Sales:
- Ensure all customers receive excellent service and that their needs and complaints are handled professionally and promptly.
- Monitor sales performance and help develop strategies to increase sales and achieve targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
