Job Description

  • Inventory management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tools and equipment, including tracking usage, repairs, and stock levels.
  • Maintenance and repair: Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on a wide range of tools and shop equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed logs and shift reports on tool usage, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
  • Inventory control: Implement and adhere to a robust inventory management system, which may include conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Safety compliance: Ensure all tool room activities and equipment handling comply with company safety regulations and protocols.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams to fulfill tooling requirements and ensure a seamless workflow.
